Overview
As a full-time Career Services Advisor at Lincoln Tech, you will help students transition from graduation to a rewarding career. You will coach them on resumes and interviews, build their professional confidence, and connect them with employers who are hiring. We’re looking for a self-directed professional who takes initiative and follows through. You will identify ways to support students and act on them.
You will build strong employer relationships and stay committed to each graduate's success. If you're driven by helping others reach their career potential, this role is for you!
- Coach students through resume building, interview preparation, and job search strategies
- Build strong relationships with employers to create exciting opportunities for students and graduates
- Stay connected with graduates and celebrate with them when they land the right role
- Coordinate interviews and follow up to ensure students are moving forward
- Keep a robust pipeline of job opportunities so every student has a path
- Experience in sales, staffing, recruitment, career services, or career coaching
- Comfortable with online job search tools and social media
- Strong follow-through - you stay on top of things without being reminded
- Availability to work at least one evening per week
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with Campus Vue is a bonus
