Position OverviewThis position is responsible for delivering lumber and building materials to customers in a timely and professional manner while ensuring safe loading, transport, and unloading of materials.
This is primarily a local driving position with consistent hours and a strong team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate Class A or B commercial vehicles
- Deliver lumber and building materials to residential and commercial job sites
- Load and unload materials (may require use of forklift or boom truck)
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ensure loads are properly secured
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Valid CDL Class A or B license
- Clean driving record
- Current DOT medical card
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Experience delivering building materials preferred
- Forklift and/or boom truck experience a plus
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
