We are seeking a Tanker Truck Driver to operate gasoline or diesel-powered tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver product and/or materials to various plants in Lincoln and surrounding areas. Must abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely.

• Drive truck to destination applying commercial driving (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and skill in maneuvering vehicle in difficult situations.
• Secure loads to flatbed trailer using straps, chains &/or tarps.
• Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submit report indicating truck condition.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water.
• May perform emergency roadside repairs, such as changing tires or tire chains.
• Assist workers, sometimes by operating forklift, to load and unload trucks.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and
• 1 year trailer tractor or related commercial vehicle driving experience; or
• or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

• Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement

• Must be able to work according to seasonal and order demand schedule.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

• Minimal math skills required.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
