Pay Rate: $19.94 starting; $21.47 for CDL holders.

Schedule: Winter positions until March 31, 2026. Hours may vary based on weather, usually around 40 hours per week.

• Help with Winter Operations.
• Perform snow removal.
• Operate heavy equipment for road maintenance.
• Trim trees.
• Respond to highway emergencies.
• Safely move, drag, lift, load, and unload equipment, materials, supplies, and hazardous materials within weight restrictions.
• Spread and tamp surfacing materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• For Senior positions: must also possess a Class A or B commercial driver’s license with air brakes and tanker endorsements within 60 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Class A or B commercial driver’s license.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.

Other Requirements: May require out-of-town, overnight travel; regular and reliable attendance; ability to report for emergencies within 40 minutes outside scheduled hours.

Must safely move, drag, lift 35 lb frequently, up to 60 lb occasionally without assistance, and 90 lb or more infrequently with assistance; climb, bend, or stoop; work outdoors in extreme temperatures and around high-speed traffic.
