Head Coach – Volleyball (Girls and Boys) – Lee's Summit High School (2026-27 School Year)
Lee's Summit R-7 School District is seeking an experienced head coach to lead our varsity volleyball programs for both girls and boys during the 2026-27 school year.
Responsibilities- Coaching the varsity girls or boys volleyball team(s).
- Coordinating with administration to hire assistant coaches.
- Directing and supervising assistant volleyball coaches.
- Managing all aspects of the program including practicing, competing, providing off‑season improvement opportunities, strength and conditioning, and full usage of contact days.
- Marketing and promoting the volleyball program(s).
- Coaching, guiding, and providing feedback to student athletes.
- Scouting opponents.
- Managing a fiscally sound budget.
- Monitoring class schedules, grades and student‑athlete academic progress, and intervening where appropriate.
- Responsible for volleyball student‑athlete retention.
- Articulation with the feeder middle school program.
- Providing summer camp opportunities for elementary students.
