What You'll Do:- Plan, prepare, and teach engaging classes, clubs, and workshops.
- Lead activities at recreation centers, camps, community learning centers, or other off-site locations.

$15.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on position and qualifications. Pay is issued by direct deposit only. Candidates must have a valid bank account registered in their name in order to receive wages. This is an unclassified (temporary) position and not eligible for benefits.
Schedule:Variable hours available Monday through Sunday, 2-15 hours per week based on the number of sessions you teach.
Minimum Qualifications:Must be at least 16 years of age.
DesiredQualifications:
Hold a valid teaching certificate or have specialized training/certification in the curriculum to be taught.

The Parks and Recreation department is FUNdamental to Lincoln.
Our team manages 168 parks, 185.9 miles of trails, 97 playgrounds, over 83,000 street trees, nine public pools, six recreation centers, five golf (and disc golf) courses, five dog runs, a nature center, and beautiful public gardens. Our programs include recreation summer day camps, before and after school programs, clubs and classes for individuals with special needs, adult and youth team sports, nature-based classes and events, swimming lessons, wellness and fitness classes for all ages, and a variety of free events and classes for all ages.
