Our client is a leader in the insurance industry. You will be part of a mixed (client-supplier) agile team composed of designers, developers and testers, with the objective of deploying the commercial strategic platform in 28 countries around the world. The team will be based in Barcelona.

As a developer, you will be responsible for analyzing and implementing technical and functional requirements, working on improving the current software solution. You will be part of a mixed agile team composed of designers, developers and testers.

• Application of new and innovative technologies for software improvement.
• Implementation of technical and functional requirements based on the functional design.
• Definition of technical specifications.
• Participation in the design of the IT environment providing expertise in java / J2EE development.
• Support in the design and testing phases within the teams.
• Defect analysis and correction.
• Creation of documentation based on software development guidelines.

University degree in Informatics (TU, FH) or equivalent qualification

Very good English skills

Experience with Java, Angular or similar client side frameworks

Through understanding of Java and common frameworks like Spring

Several years of professional experience in software development

Team player willing to learn new things and share knowledge
