Job Posting Information
This is skilled work in the maintenance, repair, alteration and construction of County-owned buildings and equipment. Performs general maintenance and repair work and performs preventative maintenance to keep systems and equipment in good working order. Also, will be responsible for grounds upkeep including mowing & snow removal.
Minimum Qualifications/Necessary Special Requirements:
Completion of junior high school with some experience in general maintenance and repair activities in any one or more of the following disciplines: carpentry, plumbing, masonry, painting, electrical repair or related craft area; or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities and skills.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to be insured by the County's insurance carrier.
Hours: M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
