We are seeking a skilled Steel Painter to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Steel Painter, you will be responsible for applying high-quality protective and decorative coatings to steel structures, equipment, and components in various industrial settings.
- Prepare steel surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and removing rust or old paint
- Mix and match paints according to specifications and color requirements
- Apply primers, paints, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Ensure proper coverage and thickness of coatings to meet quality standards
- Inspect completed work for defects and touch up as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when handling paints and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed
What do we need from you
- Proven experience (2-3 years minimum) in industrial painting, preferably with steel structures
- Proficiency in various painting techniques for steel surfaces
- Strong knowledge of paint mixing, color matching, and application methods
- Familiarity with safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints
- Physical stamina and dexterity to work in various positions and handle painting equipment
- Understanding of corrosion protection methods and industrial coating systems
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in industrial painting is preferred
- Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) related to working with hazardous materials is a plus
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights when necessary
