As a Sales Representative at Stryker, you will be at the forefront of promoting and selling our Emergency Care products, with a focus on Fire Emergency Medical Services solutions, to pre‑hospital providers. You’ll work with a diverse range of products, including Emergency Patient Transport, Defibrillators, Automated External Defibrillators (AED), and Chest Compression systems. This role involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, addressing inquiries, negotiating pricing, and managing orders seamlessly.
Staying informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory shifts helps you position Stryker’s products effectively in the marketplace, exceed sales targets, monitor performance, and collaborate with marketing and support teams to drive business growth.
- Continue experience in sales or clinical setting.
- Promote and sell Stryker Emergency Care products to meet customer needs.
- Achieve assigned quota through a consultative approach to Pre‑Hospital sales, marketing, clinical demonstrations, and all related Fire/Emergency Medical Services products and programs.
- Become the resident Emergency Care expert, building credibility with fire chiefs, medical directors, clinical instructors, and administrators.
- Focus on customer satisfaction by solving problems through a consultative approach and providing a highly responsive and unsurpassed level of service.
- Take pride in cost reduction, and ensure on‑time, complete, and error‑free shipments.
- Display experience with reports, budget, customer service, and project management.
- Possess basic knowledge of market research, new product introduction, Profit and Loss (P&L) management, and field testing.
- High school diploma and 5+ years of professional experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- A valid driver’s license in the state of residence and a good driving record is required as you will be operating a company vehicle capable of transporting equipment.
- May require moving, setting up, and demonstrating equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- May involve prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling as appropriate.
- Coordination of the eye, hand, and foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands, including visual and auditory discrimination, memory, reading ability, and memory retention.
- May handle various materials including, but not limited to: durcot fabric, nylon fabric, Velcro, zippers, product components comprised of rubber, metals, and coated products.
