Job Summary

The Solutions Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and achieving sales objectives. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of the Lincoln Learning Solutions’ offerings, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Success in this position hinges on the ability to effectively present our solutions and ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Sales, Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to travel approximately 30% for conferences, client meetings, and other engagements.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Comprehensive understanding of competitive products and market trends.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining focus and delivering desired results.
    Proficient with Hub Spot, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Maintain a professional but confident and outgoing demeanor.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay on task, meet deadlines, and take accountability for actions and results.
  • Ensure accuracy in all aspects of work, including documentation and follow-up.
  • Have or obtain:
    Child Abuse Clearance;
    Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check; and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Clearance (Act 153 and Act 168).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Identify business opportunities with a goal of increasing sales.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing strategies.
  • Maintain all client and potential client profiles in Hub Spot.
  • Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Set client renewal meetings to prepare forecasts for the upcoming academic year.
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending workshops, trade shows and reviewing professional publications.
  • Assist in determining price structure and promotions based on market research.
  • Develop scripts, presentation plans, and follow up procedures.
  • Attend local, regional, national, and international conferences, as necessary.
  • Engage potential clients during booth activity and events at conferences.
  • Monitor all sales channels and identify untapped market opportunities.
  • Build and maintain client relationships.
  • Establish and enforce organization and department standards.
  • Present information regarding clients and sales.
  • Perform any additional duties deemed necessary by leadership.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
