Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

What you’ll do

Be part of a team that prepares fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our warm rotisserie chicken. You’ll also wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure the freshest items are available for members. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with bakery orders. Your smile can make a difference in the customer experience.

You will make an impact by:

• Ensuring high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area
• Keeping shelves clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lower-quality food
• Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food
• Maintaining the Sales Floor per company policies by handling claims/returns, zoning the area, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
• Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area

You will be a Team Member, Expert, Techie, Owner, and Talent Ambassador through various responsibilities such as product knowledge, food safety standards, equipment sanitation, digital tools, and delivering high-quality service.

What you’ll do in broader terms:

• Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date product knowledge, collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates, and adapt to business needs
• Be an Expert: prepare food to item specifications, plan for future and seasonal production, adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain, inventory management, and equipment care
• Be a Techie: use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; utilize handheld technology for decisions related to production, training, and product quality
• Be an Owner: drive area performance, manage high exposure duties, stock/rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date control, reduce waste, and assist customers per policies
• Be a Talent Ambassador: model high-quality service and product standards with energy and commitment
• Complies with policies and ethics; following Open Door Policy and company processes
• Complete work priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate and communicate progress; identify improvement opportunities

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation premiums may apply in certain circumstances (e.g., scheduling, facility, season, or specific work performed).

Minimum qualifications and preferred qualifications are listed in the job posting. You may be required to complete trainings and assessments as part of the hiring process. Must be 18 years of age or older. Food service experience and Food Handler Certification are examples of preferred qualifications.
