Our Cooks are an integral part of the Dining Services team, helping ensure our residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals. Our Cooks:

• Prepare assigned stations for shift.
• Under direction of the chef, prepare individual components of various entrees and food items, adhering to the individual dietary restrictions of residents.
• Batch cooking from scratch and line cooking.
• Maintain kitchen food safety and sanitary food handling in compliance with State, Federal, and local regulations.
• Complete other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed!

• Minimum - years as a full-service restaurant cook/lead cook. Prefer experience in a healthcare facility.
• Ability to prepare high quality food for our residents, Able to work alternating holidays and pre-planned events.
• Maintain professional relationships with food and equipment venders.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and external constituents.
• Able to prepare therapeutic/modified diets.
• Able to work :am - pm, every other weekend and alternating holidays.
