Head Cook
Positions will begin August 2025 of a dedicated team that works together to provide outstanding meals and friendly customer service at a fast pace to the students of Lincoln Public Schools.
Head Cook will prepare food items according to the daily food production schedule and approved standardized recipes, prepare special diet meals, follow all HACCP requirements, work closely with the Manager to ensure sufficient quantities demonstrate knowledge of food safety. High volume cooking experience and knowledge of the proper use and cleaning of all food service equipment is preferred. Job training will be provided.
- School days only, Monday through Friday.
- This position is eligible for full-time health insurance benefit.
- Candidate must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and frequently lift 25 pounds in a given day.
- Placement is determined at the time of offer.
- wage ranges from $18.66/Hr to 20.38/Hr.
Hours may vary. Typically 5.5 hours to 6.5 hours per day, between the hours of 6:30 am and 1:45 pm.
