We are looking for an upbeat, out-going, hard-working individual to join our team as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. The Veterinary Technician’s primary duty is to assist the Veterinarians with patient care and interacting and educating clients. You must possess good critical thinking and problem-solving skills, compassion, a positive attitude, organized and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Multitasking, accepting constructive criticism and punctuality is essential.
Responsibilities- Assisting Veterinarians in patient care, monitoring and administering treatments.
- Providing gentle and compassionate care to all patients.
- Communicating with clients in varying emotional states.
- Cleaning and maintaining a sanitary work environment.
- Maintaining medical records and relaying appropriate information between doctors, staff and clients.
- Basic computer skills utilized daily.
