Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate charge nurse (RN or LPN) to join our skilled nursing team. This role supervises nursing staff, ensures high‑quality patient care, and maintains compliance with all healthcare regulations. The charge nurse will play a critical leadership role in coordinating resident care and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily nursing operations to ensure residents receive exceptional care.
- Provide guidance to nursing staff, including CNAs and other healthcare personnel.
- Administer medications and treatments asស prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor resident conditions, assess health status, and document changes in medical records.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing services provided.
- Promote a safe and supportive environment for both residents and staff.
- Licensure:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Nebraska. - Certifications:
CPR/BLS certification required. - Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
