Night Registered Nurse (RN) – Full Time – Tabitha Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

Eventide‑Tabitha is currently hiring for a full‑time Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am, 12‑hour shift. The position includes an every‑third‑weekend and holiday rotation.

• Follows through on physicians’ orders in accordance with Tabitha’s policies and procedures; receives and records physicians’ orders if appropriate.
• Prepares, administers, and supervises administration of medications, treatments, and other nursing services as ordered; observes patients for adverse reactions to medications.
• Assesses seniors/clients in regard to physical, mental and psychosocial status; reports condition changes promptly to supervisor and provides follow‑up with family and physicians as directed; records vital signs accurately.
• Observes patient skin and proactively takes steps to avoid pressure ulcers.
• Completes procedures and documents information in the medical record timely and accurately per Tabitha’s policies and procedures.
• Provides direction and monitors medication aides who administer medications to seniors/clients; follows comprehensive care plan.
• Provides supervision and education to seniors/clients for self‑administration of medications; teaches necessary skills to allow return to home.
• Assists in writing and implementing comprehensive nursing plan of care; updates the plan based on changes in patient status.

• At least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse course of study; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience as an RN or LPN preferred.
• RN or LPN license in good standing (Nebraska State Registry or other Nurse Compact state). CPR required. Licenses and credentials kept up‑to‑date at employee expense. Must meet Tabitha’s vaccination requirements.
