You will join the foundation at an exciting time, with the opportunity to make a transformational impact. The foundation is in the public phase of a historic campaign to raise $3 billion to build a better future for Nebraska. The campaign is being led by many enthusiastic volunteers representing all areas of the University of Nebraska System. This position will work in our Lincoln or Omaha office and will require occasional travel.

- Provide strategic guidance and programs to foundation and university partners on systemwide initiatives.
- Lead the development and implementation of standardized processes ensuring consistent donor experience.
- Oversee teams with strong internal service expectations, ensuring campus priorities are understood and expertise is leveraged to drive fundraising success.
- Serve as a strategist behind advancement training programs.
- Collaborate with foundation and university leadership to develop innovative ideas for securing private resources from corporations for significant funding priorities.
- Manage a portfolio of select major gift prospects with system-wide interests to engage, solicit, and steward gifts that benefit the University of Nebraska.
- Strategists who can develop innovative ideas and execute plans.
- Compassionate and relationally talented individuals who can make authentic connections, facilitate meaningful conversations, and provide individual solutions to help generous donors fulfill their philanthropic goals.

- Minimum Education
:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Preferred Education
:
Master’s Degree. - Minimum Experience
: 10 years of experience in advancement, development, donor relations, or a related executive role in a non-profit field. 5+ years of management experience. - Demonstrated leadership skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strategic, analytical skills with the ability to bring solutions.
- Possesses emotional intelligence and strong strategic leadership presence.
- Proven fundraising experience at a major gift level or above.
- Discretion in handling confidential matters.
