Job Description
6 month Fixed term position based at our Mascot Campus
Oversee integrated media planning and execution across all channels, partnering with external agencies and the internal trading desk.
Ensure clear briefs and collaborate with internal teams to deliver optimised, audience-focused campaigns aligned with Group marketing strategy.
Media ManagerMedia Manager is a subject matter expert in media, responsible for media planning and implementation of paid media buys through external agency and internal trading desk. Role covers integrated media plans across all channels:
Television, Outdoor, Radio, Print, Cinema and Digital.
Ensure all briefs are tight for agencies and internal teams to deliver and act as subject matter expert to evaluate responses to develop effective go-to-market campaigns for Qantas. Straddle strategy to execution, working with internal marketing, media agencies and analytics team to deliver best practice media campaigns, continuous focus on optimising audience and channel performance aligned with Group marketing strategy and centralised resources.
KeyQualifications
- 5+ years marketing experience in media/advertising, including digital
- Tertiary degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Experience in cross channel media implementation to meet business targets
- Digital campaign execution experience
- Results oriented, understanding of setting metrics, performance reporting and analysis techniques
- Negotiation and influencing skills to manage stakeholders and external partners
- Strong attention to detail and passion for delivering superior customer experiences through paid media
- Demonstrated ability to influence and work collaboratively with cross functional teams
- Innovative mindset and experience implementing new technologies or media channels
- Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks & meet deadlines
- Takes ownership of, and personal accountability for decisions and actions
