About Universal Pure

Join the Food Manufacturing Industry in a Manufacturing, Production, Warehouse, Factory type role! This position will operate in our cold storage warehouse. We will provide the necessary gear for the cold conditions.

Shift and Wage

Shifts available: 2nd shift 3:30pm‑12:00am. Wage Range starts at $17.00 per hour plus a Differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Wage range based on Knowledge,

Responsibilities
  • Follow the operations tasks directed by the supervisor.
  • Communicate and execute work assignments to meet set expectations by department and customer requirements.
  • Communicate with and perform as an assistant for all staff and departments such as the supervisors, support staff, leadership, and front‑line employees.
  • Communicate with internal team to address needs.
  • Prepare duty‑related paperwork.
  • Escalate work‑related and interpersonal issues to leadership as needed.
  • Perform quality checks and report failures to supervisor.
  • Ensure own adherence to Safety and Quality processes and regulations.
  • Be a resource for Safety, QA and company processes and procedures.
  • Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality for an hourly role.
  • Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Six months material handling equipment/forklift experience preferred.
  • Experience using warehouse management and inventory systems preferred.
  • Experience with the refrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with computers and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Experience following safety procedures preferred.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes potential overtime, weekends and different work schedules.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English language.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • This is largely a static role with standing; however, the ability to perform repetitive bending and standing up is also required. This would require the ability to lift 10‑35 lbs. repetitively and up to 45 lbs. occasionally.
  • This role operates in a wet and cold/refrigerated environment (between 38 and ‑20 degrees Fahrenheit) located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production‑type facility. Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for duration of shift.
Hourly Employees

Universal Pure facilities may process, pack, and store products containing allergenic food ingredients as referenced by FDA. Team members who may come in direct contact must be able to work with these ingredients.
