Timpte is looking for an Kanban/Materials Manager for our BRAND NEW facility in Lincoln, NE
!

The Kanban/Materials Manager is responsible for the Materials operations and inventory management for the Lincoln Manufacturing Center. This includes development and implementation of an improved structure to drive material replenishment, presentation, and flow.

Pay for this position is up to $85k-110k/year (depending on experience) + Monthly Bonus!

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide cross-functional leadership and change management to develop material management competencies across the facility.
  • Develop, document, implement, and train on material replenishment (Kanban), material presentation (static bins/point of use), and material flow (feed the line).
  • Own all internal replenishment processes, including rules for Kanban quantities vs. part costs. Collaborate with team to implement supplier-facing replenishment.
  • Improve inventory accuracy and reduce part shortages.
  • Manage the material handling team supporting the execution of the above.
Desired Skills, Knowledge And Qualifications
  • Minimum five years of materials management and supervisory experience as well as experience in manufacturing inventory/warehouse environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong data and metrics management skills.
  • Required to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Knowledge to operate machines, hand tools, tape measures, cranes and other equipment.
  • Must be proficient in understanding Kanban and continuous improvement principles.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
