Assistant Manager | Leisure Inn
We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Leisure Inn buzzing and loved by the locals.
Sitting on Read Street in the centre of Rockingham, Leisure Inn is in the heart of the community. A stone's throw away from the shores of Rockingham Beach and less than an hour drive south of Perth CBD, we're the perfect getaway to experience the best of Western Australia's coastline. Our spacious bistro has everything our guests want for their overdue family lunch, a catch up with mates or an intimate date night.
Salary: $76,600 + superannuation + bonus
ResponsibilitiesA day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
- Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of their crew
- Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
- Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
- Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
- Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift
Inherent requirements:
- This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
- You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
- You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
- You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
- You’ve got a current RSA and Approved Manager Card as per WA state requirements
