Are you a seasoned hospitality leader ready to take the helm of a high-volume community hub? We are seeking an experienced Publican to lead the Jimboomba Tavern while our current leader takes maternity leave.

The Jimboomba Tavern is the heartbeat of the local community, a busy, multi-faceted venue featuring a high-volume bistro, expansive bar, and a popular gaming room. This is a rare opportunity to step into a well‑run, successful operation and maintain the high standards our locals love. We need a commercial expert who is a visible leader, a natural host, and someone who can drive consistent results in a fast‑paced environment.

A day in the life of a Publican:

• You know the locals by name, they reckon you’re one of their own, all while keeping a sharp eye on the P&L.
• You run the place like it’s your own modern‑day home, keeping things safe, smooth, and compliant.
• You're the pillar of the local community and the driving force behind a high‑performing team.
• You put out fires before anyone even notices there was smoke.
• You bring the vibe, the service, and the smiles – every shift, every day.

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

You already know if this is for you. You’ve got the experience, the presence, and the pride it takes to own a pub like it’s been yours forever. You're not just running a venue - you're living the Publican life.

• Hold current industry RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers License qualifications as per state requirements
