Schuyler Community Schools is accepting applications for a Grounds worker/Maintenance staff opening.
This is a full time, 12 month contract position. Starting salary depends on experience. Full family insurance and other benefits available.
Position includes a variety of duties not limited to:
- Will be responsible for mowing and maintaining grounds - all seasons
- Keeps building premises neat and clean at all times
- Reports immediately to supervisor any damage to school property
- Moves furniture and equipment within buildings as directed by supervisor
- Makes such minor repairs as he/she is capable
- Keeps to assigned schedule
- Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor
- Position will occasionally require lifting 60 pounds or more
- Self-directed - can organize own time and tasks
