Job Duties- Support state agency stakeholders by consulting on talent acquisition strategies and serving as a strategic advisor for best practices and recruitment lifecycle management.
- Develop, implement and lead workforce planning initiatives, including hiring forecasts, succession planning and skills-based hiring strategies.
- Promote and represent the State of Nebraska as a key employer through various social media, events, networking and marketing channels.
- Leverage recruiting and candidate tools and systems, including applicant tracking system, resume databases and internet sourcing databases, to strategically source, evaluate and match candidates with potential career opportunities, including within the State s temporary employment program (SOS Temporary Program).
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts and training related to systems, processes and personal development.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading large-scale recruitment projects or similar HR initiatives, as well as experience in full-cycle recruitment, sourcing/direct search, recruitment marketing; and talent acquisition certification.
