Banquet Server On-Call:
Create memorable experiences for our guests as a Banquet Server at the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel. We hire candidates who excel in attention to detail and delivering exceptional service. • Set up tables with china, silverware, and other service equipment in accordance with Event Order (EO) and break down assigned banquet rooms according to manager's instructions.
• Serve food and beverages according to standards and event orders.
• Prepare work areas such as coffee stations prior to function; maintain cleanliness of banquet rooms, public areas, and storage areas.
• Attend all scheduled mandatory Banquet Department meetings, trainings, and hotel meetings.
• Maintain standards of quality and service according to Marcus Hotels & Resorts and Marriott standards.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as requested and/or assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Lancaster County Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service Training Certification, plus any additional training or certification requirements per Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Marriott, and Lancaster County.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, game days, and under pressure.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and/or carry 30 lbs. and to stand and move continuously to perform essential job functions.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and maintain professionalism in all facets of the workplace.
• Ability to represent the company in a professional, well-groomed, and courteous manner at all times.
