Position SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and friendly Dietary Aide to join our team on a part-time day shift. This role is vital in ensuring residents receive meals safely, promptly, and with a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate is compassionate, attentive to detail, and enjoys providing excellent service in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the setup and cleanup of the dining room, ensuring it is clean, organized, and inviting.
- Serve meals to residents according to dietary guidelines and individual preferences.
- Deliver beverages and snacks to residents in a timely and courteous manner.
- Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Report any changes in residents’ appetite, food preferences, or dietary needs to the dietary supervisor.
- Support the dietary team with general tasks, including dishwashing, tray assembly, and inventory management as needed.
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor with residents, visitors, and team members.
- Ability to follow dietary and safety procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays or supplies as needed.
