Medication Aide (CNA Required) – Part Time Evenings – Tabitha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Eventide‑Tabitha is hiring for a Part‑Time Medication Aide (MA40) for an Evening shift 2 p‑10 p (8 Hours). This position is every other weekend and holiday rotation.

The position requires an active, good‑standing MA40 and CNA license.

• At least age 18.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Evaluates emergency situations and performs CPR when necessary, based on training.

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence.
• Assists with senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
• Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout the shift to meet frequently changing/overlapping senior/client/caregiver/Team member/manager needs and call lights.
• Performs work duties within the assigned work environment as assigned by Tabitha, regardless of Team member preference.
• Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual senior/client.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by ensuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times.
• Additional essential functions while utilizing a MA40:
  • Prepares and administers medications and treatments, under the direction of the RN, within scope of practice as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies/procedures.
  • Evaluates emergency situations and performs CPR when necessary, based on training.
