** This role pays $21.00 and above (DOE).This is a Part-Time position (approx. 20- 25 hours/week); with some occasional Saturday/Sunday coverage as needed.

** Physical Therapist Assistant
** to join the team!
** Our Physical Therapist Assistants:
*** Conducts PT Assessments/evaluations for assigned patients, developing and implementing a treatment and discharge plan based upon results and modifying it as necessary to meet resident/patient goals.
* Participate in program development in-services and staff meetings.
* Promote a safe and secure environment for both team members and patients.
* Actively support the treatment team, department and rehabilitation goals and objectives.
* Assist in care planning processes; primarily working with outpatient orthopedic clients.
* Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibilit
* Performs other duties as assigned.
** What you need to succeed!
*** Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
* Current on the NE Registry as a licensed PTA.
* CPR certification or become certified within six months of hire
* Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant, and/or certified on the NE Registry
* One year in long-term care or acute care setting preferred
* Strong knowledge of relevant rehabilitation therapy techniques and procedures in respective discipline
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat and/or Adobe Reader
* An upbeat, fun, outgoing personality and can-do attitude
* Convey the appropriate information needed to identify individuals’ requirements relative to their condition and age-specific needs
* A caring, passionate personality and ability to develop and maintain meaningful, positive relationships with residents, patients, families, physicians and team members.
