Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to perform high quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations and support physicians in accurate patient diagnosis. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a patient centered approach.

Job Type: Travel Contract •
Duration: 13 weeks •
Shift: 5x8 Rotating
Pay: $2,383.40/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures (e.g., abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, small parts) following established protocols.
- Prepare patients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort.
- Capture clear, accurate images and adjust equipment for optimal visualization.
- Identify, record, and communicate findings to radiologists or attending physicians.
- Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment; report malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
- Document patient information and exam results accurately in EMR or PACS systems.
- Follow safety standards, infection control practices, and HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff for coordinated care.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or eligible.
- Certifications in OB/GYN, Abdomen, or Vascular preferred.
- 1–2+ years of experience in ultrasound imaging preferred (new grads welcome depending on facility).
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sonographic techniques.
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.
- Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and imaging software
- Strong attention to detail and image quality
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced clinical environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Hospital, imaging center, or outpatient clinic setting
- May require weekend or on-call shifts depending on facility needs
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and assist in patient positioning
