Medication Aide; CNA -Part-Time Days- Tabitha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Overview

Eventide-Tabitha is currently hiring for a Part-Time Day Medication Aide (MA40). The scheduled hours are from 6am–6:30pm with an every third weekend and holiday rotation.

The Medication Aide requires an active, good-standing MA40 and CNA license.

• At least age 18.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Evaluates emergency situations, performing CPR when necessary, based on training.

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence.
• Assists with senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
• Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout shift to meet frequently changing/overlapping senior/client/caregiver/TEAMember/manager needs and call lights when necessary.
• Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Tabitha, regardless of TEAMember preference.
• Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual senior/client.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by ensuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times.
• Additional essential functions while utilizing a MA40:
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments, under the direction of the RN, within scope of practice as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies/procedures.
• Evaluates emergency situations, performing CPR when necessary, based on training.

At Eventide | Tabitha, we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $19.00–$21.28 per hour for MA's based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
