The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. This role includes cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and laundering linens and personal clothing in accordance with facility standards, infection control policies, and safety regulations

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas according to schedule and procedures.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces as assigned.
• Follow proper infection control and isolation cleaning procedures.
• Use appropriate chemicals and cleaning solutions as directed.
• Report needed repairs or maintenance issues to supervisorुआ.
• Maintain housekeeping cart and storage areas in a clean, organized manner.
• Provide respectful and courteous service to residents and staff.
• Conduct weekly deep cleanings on resident rooms.

• Demonstrates bookmark of professionalism.
• Adheres to predetermined work dates and times.
• Regular scheduled attendance is required.
• Completes assignments in a timely manner as assigned.
• Works cooperatively with all departments.
• Consistently professional in appearance.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience Derived especially in healthcare.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.; frequently lift 10-25 lbs.
• Use hands for simple and firm grasping and fine manipulation.
• Close, distance, color, peripheral, depth vision and ability to adjust focus required.
• Exposure to hazardous chemicals such as disinfectants, cleaners, soap, etc.
• Exposure to latex gloves and other personal protective equipment.
• Occasional exposure to blood/body fluids when providing resident care.
  
  Occasional exposure to microbial bacteria and other infectious agents inherent to care for older adults.
