The OpportunitySaint Luke's East in Lee's Summit is looking for a PRN Registered Dietitian
. This person is accountable for using the Nutrition Care Process (NCP, ADIME-assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation). Within the organizational structure of clinical nutrition, the RD functions independently and is a resource contributing to the professional development of clinical staff and/or students at the patient care level. They demonstrate initiative to promote change in the department, recognizing opportunities for improvement.
They will also participate in performance improvement activities. The RD demonstrates competency in the Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional Performance and meets requirements for CAP Level II.
