Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Analyst to join our thriving Tech Services team. This is a permanent position that offers an exceptional opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where your insights and expertise will be highly valued. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for our healthcare-focused IT services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis within the healthcare and IT sectors, and a passion for driving business results through precise, data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present financial analyses and reports to management, including monthly financial results, forecasts, and budget variance analyses.
- Assist in the development of annual operating budgets and financial forecasts, working closely with various departments to gather and analyze data.
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
- Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
- Maintain database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
- Increase productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements.
- Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or a professional certification such as CFA/CPA is a plus.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the healthcare and IT sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent financial modeling skills and experience with financial planning and analysis functions, including annual budget, capital budgeting, long-term strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) and familiarity with financial software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills, accuracy in calculations, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage large, complex projects, and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
