About the RoleWe are seeking a self‑motivated, experienced Project Manager to join our team. This role is key to our expansion and involves leading large, multi‑disciplinary environmental projects, with primary focus on leading projects in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), environmental monitoring and environmental permitting and licensing for the mining and nuclear sectors. The ideal candidate has a background in environmental science, engineering or related fields, possesses strong project management skills and is eager to support organizational growth.
In addition to managing projects, the successful candidate will contribute technically where appropriate, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, scientifically robust results.
The candidate will work closely with clients to ensure responsiveness to their needs and collaborate with a diverse team of experts to guide projects from conception through completion, maintaining regulatory compliance and effective stakeholder engagement. To be successful in the role, the candidate will need to develop a general understanding of the technical disciplines involved in your projects, to be able to communicate with the client and answer pertinent questions.
Additionally, the candidate will actively contribute to developing and improving project management tools and methodologies to support our expanding portfolio.
- Lead all phases of environmental projects, with a focus on EIA, environmental monitoring and environmental permitting and licensing for mining and nuclear projects, from initial scoping and feasibility through to execution and reporting.
- Develop project specific team needs using internal and external resources with the required technical expertise to deliver the project.
- Provide technical expertise and contribute to project deliverables where appropriate, leveraging background in environmental science, engineering or related disciplines to ensure the accuracy and rigor of project outcomes.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies and stakeholders to address project requirements, secure necessary permits and provide regular project updates. Maintain a high level of responsiveness to client needs and adapt project strategies to address client feedback.
- Manage and coordinate multi‑disciplinary project teams, including biologists, geologists, engineers and other specialists, including subcontractors.
- Develop project budgets, manage financials and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
