• Assisting senior and intermediate staff with engineering design on a variety of transportation projects.
• Preparing AutoCAD drawings and item quantity calculations used for tender and construction.
• Quality control according to engineering specifications and client requirements under the direction and supervision of a senior designer or engineer.
• Responsible for drafting quality control and interface with other disciplines.
• Responsible for keeping up with industry updates and current software, as well as internal processes.
• Preparing highway designs for various types of facilities using current design software.
• Providing design support on transportation projects and becoming familiarized with client standards.
• Maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborating with design teams within other operating locations in Ontario.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive consulting experience completing linear transportation projects.
• Ability to read and understand survey plans and drawings.
• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software would be considered a strong asset. Demonstrated abilities in multidisciplinary project teamwork and coordination.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and ability to think creatively.
• Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
