Substitute teachers are those who hold a bachelor degree (or higher) in education. This position requires Nebraska Teaching or State Substitute certificate.

Full Day Pay Rate: $185.53
* Half Day Pay Rate: $92.76
* * These are the pay rates for 2024-25. Rates for 2025-26 have not been finalized.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Employees retiring or changing from a benefits eligible position to a substitute only position are subject to NPERS and PPACA reemployment rules and will need to wait 90 or 180 days.

* Applicants that are hired will be required to provide official transcripts of degrees/coursework and a valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate to Human Resources prior to starting to work.
