Provide classroom instruction, maintain classroom management, and perform related duties to ensure daily routines and responsibilities are followed during the absence of the regular employee.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent;
Associate Degree or 60 hours of post‑secondary education preferred - Satisfactory completion of Pioneer RESA 3 Hours Substitute Teacher Training Course or possession of a valid or expired Georgia Teaching Certificate (or letter of eligibility of same), or documentation of completion of Substitute Teacher Training with surrounding school systems.

- Maintain positive and orderly classroom and provide instruction to students according to the plans left by the regular employee.
- Supervise students outside the classroom (hallways, cafeteria, etc.).
- Use appropriate behavior management strategies.
- Act in a professional and ethical manner.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Adhere to all Hall County School District Board of Education policies and all state and federal laws, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to push or pull a maximum of 50 pounds

Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist
