Coach, Assistant Volleyball Coach

Overview

Lincoln Southwest High School is looking for a certified teacher and/or coach who would be responsible for the instruction of volleyball skills and techniques, team systems and strategies; providing a safe and competitive environment; developing safe and properly planned and supervised practices and contests; providing leadership; and building positive and purposeful relationships with student-athletes and their families.

• Instruct volleyball skills and techniques, team systems and strategies.
• Provide a safe and competitive environment; develop safe, properly planned and supervised practices and contests.
• Provide leadership; be energetic, a good communicator, and able to build positive and purposeful relationships with student-athletes and their families.

• Holds a Nebraska Department of Education Teacher or Administrative Certificate or a Nebraska Department of Education Special Services Coaching Permit.

• Inspect and maintain the inventory and equipment.
• Report contest results; know, implement, and enforce national, state, and local athletic policies.

• This position is subject to a veterans preference.
