Job Description
We are seeking a Strategic and results-driven Education Manager – India to lead and expand our engagement within the higher education ecosystem. This role requires a strong background in business development and a deep understanding of the Indian university landscape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scaling our academic programs, fostering high-impact partnerships with over 400+ universities, integrating global education initiatives, and supporting talent acquisition efforts through student engagement and industry alignment.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Business Development- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to grow the organization’s presence in the Indian higher education sector, targeting engineering, electronics, and applied sciences disciplines.
- Identify and drive new opportunities for collaboration with universities, government agencies, and industry partners.
- Lead horizontal and vertical channel expansion across the academic ecosystem to meet corporate KPIs.
- Oversee and nurture relationships with 400+ higher education institutions across India.
- Create and scale initiatives that support university engagement, curriculum integration, and student participation in global programs.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of academic content and student development objectives.
Lead and manage a cross‑functional education team comprising:
- University Relations Managers
- Certified Professional Trainers
- Program Marketing Manager
- Electronic Training Specialists
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance management for all team members.
- Collaborate closely with the Human Resources team to support recruitment from top‑tier institutions.
- Develop talent pipelines by promoting employer branding and skill‑aligned academic initiatives across universities.
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships with government bodies, academic councils, and education policy influencers.
- Represent the organization in key educational forums, conferences, and public‑private initiatives.
- Localize and scale global education programs in the Indian market, ensuring cultural relevance and academic fit.
- Act as the India liaison for global education teams to share feedback, insights, and success stories.
- Bachelor’s degree in business operations, education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the university education market in India, preferably in a strategic or managerial role.
- Proven track record in business development, partnership management, and education strategy.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Deep understanding of the Indian higher education landscape.
- Ability to operate cross‑functionally and collaborate across business units.
- Experience working with engineering and technical institutions.
- Background in driving education programs aligned to workforce development or industry recruitment.
- Experience in Electronic Design or Engineering Education.
- Familiarity with education technology platforms and program analytics.
