Locum Jobs Online  is working with Comp Health to find a qualified Perinatology MD in Omaha, Nebraska, 68124!

The Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) is offering a unique opportunity within a consult-based practice that provides comprehensive services for all aspects of high-risk pregnancies. Deliveries are managed by the generalist team, with 24-hour labor and delivery coverage. The division is seeking new faculty members to help develop an integrated, multidisciplinary, and value-based approach to high-risk obstetric care. With a focus on research and education, the newly established division offers prenatal diagnostic procedures, including amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS), for regional healthcare networks.

To accommodate a growing patient population, the ultrasound unit features five E10 machines with Viewpoint software fully integrated into Epic EMR. The department is staffed by experienced certified sonographers, and the division includes two dedicated genetic counselors and an integrated fetal center. Currently, two MFM physicians lead the team, with plans to recruit a third and fourth. Future goals for the division include establishing an ACGME-approved fellowship in MFM and expanding its research sector.

Applicants will also play an active role in educating medical students and residents. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to assume divisional, departmental, and institutional leadership positions.
