We are actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens position in a hospital setting near Lincoln, NE. This role is available ASAP and offers a chance to join a well-supported team providing anesthesia care across a diverse range of procedures.

• Perform anesthesia for various procedures including orthopedic, spine, gynecology, urology, and gastric bypass surgeries.
• Handle minimal vascular cases, with no pediatric cases involved.
• Work independently with backup support from an onsite anesthesiologist.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records (EMR).
• Collaborate with a supportive team of anesthesia providers, CRNAs, and anesthesia techs.

• Board Certification: Required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, and PALS
• State License: Must be licensed in Nebraska, or willing to obtain licensure.
• Experience: Must be comfortable handling a variety of cases with a focus on independent work.

• The facility handles a high volume of cases, with a yearly total of about 3,600 surgeries.
• You will be expected to work in a dynamic environment, providing anesthesia for a range of procedures while managing patient care effectively.
• The facility is addressing a staffing shortage and seeks a reliable and competent anesthesiologist to fill this crucial role.
