This is a full-time, consult only, on-site position for a BE/BC Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist, based in Lincoln, NE. The specialist will provide diagnostic, consultative, and therapeutic services in maternal and fetal care, including managing high-risk pregnancies. Responsibilities include working closely with multidisciplinary teams, providing direct patient care, consulting with referring physicians, and guiding patients and families throughout the continuum of care.
The specialist will also contribute to education and collaboration efforts within the medical community.
- Strong expertise in Medicine, including maternal and fetal medicine, with a commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate patient care.
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Experience and knowledge in Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine to address diverse patient needs and manage complications.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with Physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Board certification or eligibility in Maternal and Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
- Active medical license or ability to obtain medical licensure in Nebraska.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
