Senior Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician

= La Vista, NE

As a Senior CMT Technician, you will independently perform advanced-level construction materials testing and special inspections with minimal supervision. You'll also provide guidance to less-experienced staff, travel to a variety of project sites in the Omaha metro area, and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

= A company vehicle is provided for travel to and from job sites.

• Conduct inspections and testing on large commercial and industrial construction sites

• Prepare daily inspection and test reports with accuracy and completeness

• Review field and lab data to ensure compliance with specifications

• Provide mentorship and training to junior staff; may lead field teams on larger projects

• Collaborate with engineers, clients, and contractors to ensure project quality standards are met

Requirements include:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Excellent plan reading abilities and attention to detail

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Associate degree in a technical field preferred (or equivalent experience)

• 3 5 years' experience in construction observation, materials testing, or special inspections

• Relevant certifications such as ACI Grade I, ICC, NICET, and Nuclear Gauge OR a bachelor's degree in engineering with EIT

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and maintain a safety-first mindset

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history =
