The Senior Business Development Manager – Beverages is a key leadership role, partnering with Endeavour Group’s retail and hotel businesses to shape and execute the Pinnacle Drinks beverage category and sourcing strategy. This role drives end-to-end commercial outcomes for a customer-led portfolio.

The role leads beverage business planning and sourcing, translating strategy into actionable sourcing and NPD pipelines based on market and customer needs. A primary focus is developing and commercializing high-performing retail beverage brands for long-term growth.

Success requires strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing stakeholders (Merchandise, Marketing, Supply Chain, Packaging, Operations) without direct authority. The Senior Business Development Manager connects functions, ensuring strategic alignment and execution excellence across the beverage portfolio.

  • Accountable for the Pinnacle Beverages financial plan, including sales, gross profit, BDF, and sourcing budgets across key beverage categories.
  • Business Planning Pinnacle lead for Spirits/RTD and Beer/Cider category
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of 6, to design and execute category strategies
  • Working closely with marketing to understand consumer and category insights, translating into co-created innovation and brand building including innovation pipeline and new product development (NPD)— aligned with customer needs and deliver strong commercial results.
  • Drive prioritisation of initiatives to optimise financial performance, while balancing supply efficiency and working capital targets.
  • Partner with Merchandise teams across Retail and Hotels to co-create category promotional and activation plans that enhance product visibility, velocity, and margin performance.
  • Set clear strategic direction for the Pinnacle Beverages portfolio, including category development priorities, financial planning, and long-term growth objectives.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that enable cost-effective, innovative, and high-quality product solutions aligned with category plans.
  • Provide leadership across both short- and long-term NPD and sourcing pipelines, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery of portfolio objectives.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to align category-level demand forecasts with supply planning, ensuring availability and performance against working capital targets.
  • Oversee execution of sourcing and NPD initiatives across Endeavour Group’s Retail and Hotel channels, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Champion cross-functional communication and collaboration between Pinnacle Drinks and internal stakeholders, maintaining a solutions-oriented, commercially focused approach.
  • Maintain and enhance commercial work processes and systems to drive operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the beverage category.
  • Role model company values and ways of working, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team culture.
What do we need from you
  • Exceptional leadership and people management experience.
  • 10+ years of category / brand management experience.
  • Extended commercial experience, particularly in FMCG manufacturing and/or retail roles.
  • Liquor industry experience, preferably within the Beer & Spirits product categories.
  • Advanced Google/MS Office experience.
  • Strong Business Acumen.
