Hours:
Full Time;
Monday - Friday; 5:30 - 2:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m. Subject to annual shift bid by seniority.
This is skilled, diagnostic and mechanical work in the repair and overhaul of a diversified automotive fleet. Work includes servicing and maintaining all fleet vehicles by providing preventive and unscheduled repairs to ensure safe, mechanical, sound and efficient operation at lowest possible cost.
Minimum QualificationsGraduation from a senior high school or equivalent and experience in preventive maintenance and repair of automotive equipment; or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities and skills.
Desired: Automotive Service Excellence (A.S.E) certification.
Necessary Special Requirement: Possession of a valid driver s license when operating a vehicle is necessary to the satisfactory performance of assigned duties.
When operating equipment that falls under the Nebraska Commercial Driver s License (CDL) status, the employee is required to possess and maintain the proper license and endorsement.
