Graham Tire Co of Lincoln is currently seeking to hire top notch automotive technicians. Experience in automotive diagnostic and repair is preferred, but we will provide training for someone with lesser experience who desires to get into this very satisfying field. Earn up to $35 per hour with many benefits, and no weekends in this full time position. The Automotive Technician is responsible for identifying necessary vehicle service and performing the repair, service, and/or maintenance work.

• Examine customer vehicles.
• Identify necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain Customer Satisfaction scores at or above company standards.
• Estimate cost of repairs.
• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Document services performed.
• Perform services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines.
• Follow dealership and manufacturer service guidelines.
• Request necessary parts.
• Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Regularly attend formal training to remain proficient in changing automotive technology.
• Maintain an organized service department.
• Perform other tasks, based on the requirements and instructions of the Service Manager.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Good physical health including ability to occasionally lift 60 pounds; frequent bending, carrying, hearing, lifting, pushing, standing, stooping and walking; occasional climbing, crawling, crouching and reaching.
• Working Conditions:
  
  Required to work at varying temperature and humidity. Occasionally subjected to vibrations, mechanical and electrical hazards. Atmospheric conditions occasionally include fumes and dust. Noise level may be high.
• Licenses:
  Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Other: ASE certification.
• High level of motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Proven knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.
