You will join the foundation at an exciting time, with the opportunity to make a transformational impact. The foundation is in the public phase of a historic campaign to raise $3 billion to build a better future for Nebraska. The campaign is being led by many enthusiastic volunteers representing all areas of the University of Nebraska System.

Ways you will make an impact
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the biographical aspects of the Foundation’s database of records.
  • Accountable for the accuracy and timeliness of prospect biographical data.
  • Assist in providing documentation of and recommending changes to guidelines while working with other Foundation users to ensure that guidelines are followed.
  • Entails a high volume of data entry verification, research, information retrieval, coding, and correction with limited supervision.
  • Support the University of Nebraska Foundation and other departments with document imaging needs.

What you need
  • Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
    Preferred Education: Associate’s degree.
  • Minimum Experience: 1-3 years of experience in computer operations with knowledge of database, spreadsheet and word processing.
  • Computer skills including data entry and electronic file organization, with Microsoft Office experience.
  • Ability to learn new software applications, maintain orderly records, communicate effectively with colleagues and the public.
  • Accurate sorting, organizing, and data entry.
  • Discretion in handling confidential matters.
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communications.
