Front Desk/Receptionist
Our Guest Relations Coordinator/receptionist is vital to upholding dignity in life for everyone who walks through the doors at Sumner Place by being a hospitable presence and anticipating guests’ needs.
This is a minimal part-time position. The hours are every other Saturday and Sunday 9:30 am – 3:30 pm.
Daily tasks include:
- Greeting and welcoming visitors to Sumner Place
- Answering and transferring phone calls
- Completing/updating projects as needed using a variety of computer programs
- Anticipating people’s needs to provide an exceptional hospitable experience
Qualified candidates will have basic knowledge about Microsoft programs and be able to operate a telephone switchboard, copier, fax, and other office equipment. They will possess high personal integrity, a caring attitude, and have passion for hospitality and serving older adults. Our Guest Relations Coordinator sits consistently through the day but must be able to bend, stoop, and twist to complete routine job duties.
