Position SummaryUnder general supervision, the Administrative Technician provides advanced technical and administrative support to the manager and team within the Staffing Department. This position plays a key role in processing, coordinating, tracking, and deploying nursing services department throughout the hospital to ensure patient care needs and efficient department operations.

Job Duties
- Perform advanced administrative support activities, including managing multiple databases, spreadsheets and software to accurately staff the patient care areas with the appropriate licensed and unlicensed staff.
- Compose, prepare, or track staff related information such as time and attendance and training.
- Arrange schedules and prepare written records of information.
- Collect, compile, and extract data from computer systems, databases, statistical, accounting, and administrative records.
- Compile records and create reports, charts, and graphs, spreadsheet, and database software to support management decision-making.
- Track and monitor program-related information and ensure accuracy and confidentiality of records.
Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training or experience related to research, presentation, or publication in an area related to the programs or functions of the employing agency; business administration; accounting; customer service; and/ or technical support work, including use of computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and creating charts, graphs, and reports
- Experience working with medical record systems
Other:
- 19 years of age.
